Ming Tombs | |||
The Ming Tombs collectively describe the well-preserved mausoleums of thirteen emperors of the Ming Dynasty. The most magnificent of the tombs at Changling belongs to the first emperor Zhu Di and his empresses. This is the largest site having a palatial and complex architecture and high cultural and historic value. The succeeding twelve emperors had their tombs built around Changling. |
