Wuling mountain

Wuling Mountain, located between Beijing and Tianjin, rises 2188 meters above sea level and is classified as a Natural Scenic Spot. The area is known for its breathtaking peaks and valleys surrounded by a lush, alpine vegetation. The precipices and rock formations make for an exhilarating sight in the early morning lingering clouds. You will most certainly understand why a Ming-era Buddhist sect chose this area as a place for enlightenment, building a number of shrines, temples and steles. The area's ecosystem is entirely unique and home to the rare snub-nosed monkey. The dove tree, with its white blossoms shaped like dove tails, is also native to the area.
